HHCDO is currently majoring in horticultural farming to overcome food shortage within the community. With growing populations and new health recommendations, the demand for a wider variety of high-quality vegetables continue to increase, causing an immediate need to harvest more quality, nutritious food from each unit of land. The various crops are grown in plots “Valves” measuring 50m*50m through drip irrigation. This project has given local farmers and groups an opportunity to learn drip irrigation farming. At the moment, there is production of tomatoes, spinach, water melon and kales.

HHCDO embraces the commercial poultry farming, rearing Broilers, kenbro, and Kari improved Kienyeji.
